Rentals & Things to Do

Whether you're looking for adventure or a relaxing way to explore, Smith Island has something for everyone. Rent a bike, golf cart, or kayak and take in the scenery at your own pace. Private charters are available for beach trips, sunset cruises, and visits to the nearby pelican rookery. Water taxi service runs between Ewell and Tylerton, making it easy to experience both villages. You can also dive deeper into island life with local history tours, crab shanty visits, or by spending a day on the water with a working waterman.

Kayak & Paddle Board Rental

Choose from a brand-new fleet of kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, available to rent for your island adventure. Rentals include maps, properly fitted life jackets, and all essential safety gear.
